TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
PROJECT SOLICITATION
FY 2009-2013
NIRPC, as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for northwest Indiana, is soliciting transportation projects for federal fiscal years 2009-2013 for the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a multi-year program of projects selected by stakeholders to receive federal and state highway, transit and bridge funds. Eligible applicants for these funds are cities and towns, counties, and providers of public transit. Citizens may suggest projects through their local elected officials.
