eXtraordinary Road Trip
XRT: eXtraordinary Road Trip is an educational
computer game designed to teach player how to
analyze the transportation variables affecting air
quality. XRT is thought-provoking,
competitive, and fun edutainment for drivers of
all ages.
A tri-state partnership that includes NIRPC, the
Wisconsin Department of natural Resources and the
Illinois Department of Transportation created the
award winning game. Funding for the
development, production, and distribution of the
project was provided by the US EPA and Federal
Highway Administration.
