Water Resources: Protection and Conservation Toolkit- Includes individualized fact sheets on
a variety of topics relating to water quality as
part of a water planning initiative.
Watershed Management Framework Plan-
Provides a
framework for communities to manage their
watersheds. It is an initial resource for
communities to use before contacting further
resources.

Regional Water Quality Survey - Reports
the results of a region-wide survey on water quality
issues.

Institute -The Purdue
University Water Institute is an academic research
partnership with the U.S. Department of
Energy's Argonne National Laboratory designed to
advance northwest Indiana and its economic
development.
Great
Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO)- This
program:

monitors lake ecosystem indicators;

manages
and provides public access to Great Lakes data;

helps communities address contaminated sediments in
their harbors;

supports local protection and
restoration of important habitats;

promotes
pollution prevention through activities and projects
such as the Canada-U.S. Bi-national Toxics Strategy;

and provides assistance for community-based
Remedial Action Plans for Areas of Concern and
lake-wide Management Plans.
Advance Identification (ADID)-Details a planning
process used to identify wetlands and other waters
that are generally suitable or unsuitable for the
discharge of dredged and fill materials.
