Air Quality Conformity Determination-
Transportation conformity is established by the
clean air act. Activities cannot create new
violations or make existing violations worse.
It requires the evaluation of emissions from
transportation plans, transportation improvement
programs (TIPs), and projects before they are funded
or approved.
