Transportation Improvement Program

Welcome to the home page for the Fiscal Year 2008-2011 TIP.  The TIP was adopted by the NIRPC Board of Commissioners at their June 21, 2008 meeting.  To access the document click on the desired section listed below.

Transportation Improvement Program- The Fiscal Year 2008-2011 TIP is a prioritized, multi-year program for the implementation of transportation improvement projects for Northwest Indiana.

Air Quality Conformity Determination- Transportation conformity is established by the clean air act.  Activities cannot create new violations or make existing violations worse.  It requires the evaluation of emissions from transportation plans, transportation improvement programs (TIPs), and projects before they are funded or approved.
