Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission
works on projects that promote the safety and
security of the residents of Northwest Indiana.
Listed below are some of the projects and programs
that NIRPC has worked on to help ensure the safety
of the residents of the region.

Programs:
Safe Routes to Schools-
Safe Routes to Schools
is designed to increase the number of children
walking and biking to school. A SR2S program
integrates health, fitness, traffic relief,
environmental awareness and safety under one
program.
