NIRPC’s Ped, Pedal & Paddle Committee (3PC) meets the first Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. The 3PC is open to ANYONE who is interested in shaping bicycle, pedestrian, and paddling polices in the NWI region.

The new 500-foot bike/ped bridge on the Little Cal Levee Trail over Calumet Ave. is nearing completion. This has been a challenging trail crossing for years. The bridge expects to be open by Memorial Day. More details here: http://ow.ly/bpYS50NtRQZ

NIRPC and CommuniTree partners, US Forest Service and Student Conservation Association, visited a nursery to order native trees and took a tour of the nursery operations. Look for new CommuniTree trees in our region's communities this spring!
