The Northwest Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC) invites you to participate in the kickoff public outreach events for NWI 2050+, the update to the NWI 2050 plan. The NWI 2050 Plan builds on the successes of the award-winning 2040 Plan which was the first comprehensive regional plan for our three-county region. The NWI 2050 Plan takes a bold approach by planning at the center of the linkages between transportation, the environment, land use, and economic development. Now is the time to begin to provide your feedback on how you hope to see Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties progress over the next thirty years as NWI 2050 updates to NWI 2050+.
